Cold and Wet Weather

Even in California it has become dreary and cold enough to slow down the motorcycle world.  Motorcycle parking spaces are even available in San Francisco today, as we start the first day of a forecast four days of rain.

In this kind of weather, I admit that I don’t ride.  Instead, I surf the web, looking for the new stuff, and read motorcycle magazines.  (See my article about Citybike, and my article IN Citybike).  It’s not the same thing, of course, but I think this winter frustration is one of the things that makes it so great to be back out in the spring with the good weather.

There seems to be a lot going on under the surface, and I expect the next year to be blooming not just with new motorcycle technology, but with a lot of product that really is exciting.

The recession has been hard on the industry, and they cut back accordingly.  Now that we are starting to come out of the recession, I expect the industry to come out of its shell in a big way.

Next year will be a great one for riding.
